Pictons accepts its environmental responsibilities and recognises its obligations to contribute to resolving local and global environmental issues, by reducing our environmental impact.
We endeavour to fulfil this commitment by:
- Comply with all relevant legislation and codes of practice.
- Continually seeking to improve our environmental performance.
- Quantifiyng and reducing our environmental impact, in relation to energy and material supplies.
- Improving staff environmental awareness and responsibilities.
- Reducing energy and resource consumption by implementing effective and efficient reduction methods consistent with best practice.
- Minimising the generation of waste and implementing recycling initiatives.
- Ensuring that this Policy is understood, implemented and maintained at all levels in the organisation
- Periodically reviewing this Policy to take account of changes in organisation, legislation or other internal and external factors.
At Pictons we are serious about changing the environment and its effects on humankind.

Pictons are active supporters of the Fair Trade movement.
We stock a variety of Fair Trade certified products in our vending machines and this year were proud to fly the Fair Trade Fortnight banner on our website during Fair Trade Fortnight.
