Are you looking for a fresh, new and non-pressurised networking group that still has your business growth at heart? This is the goal of Pictons, which has joined forces with Camelot Rugby Club to form a business networking group with a difference. The Camelot Business Club, which launches at Camelot’s HQ in Chaulden Lane, HP1 2BS on February 2nd, is designed to attract and support a wide variety of businesses and commercial ventures in the Hemel Hempstead and the surrounding region.

It will take place on the first Thursday of every month and will be at the convenient after-work time from 5.00pm-6.30pm. The Pictons Camelot Business Club’s aim is for like-minded business professionals to get together, network, discuss their businesses and generally develop working relationships with each other to build stronger ties within the Hertfordshire business community.

Jacqueline Webb, Head of the Commercial Dept at Pictons and recently appointed Chairman of the company says “ Pictons has well-established offices in Hemel, Luton, Milton Keynes, and Tring and we’re always interested in making new connections...

“Like many avid business networkers, I think we’re all tired of the same old networking groups which are always very pushy and pressurised when it comes to referrals and bringing along guests. We decided to take a more relaxed and friendly approach, and, along with Paul Madison of Camelot’s Rugby Club, to start up a business club that allows you to just come along, meet lots of other like-minded business professionals and know that the purpose of the business club is not centred purely around the referral process.
“We are confident that everyone will get enormous benefits from this club and get many business opportunities, without paying massive membership fees or having to pass on their contacts. We’ll have a range of guest speakers who will give great practical advice that will benefit you and help you to grow your business. These are challenging times, but there are still many opportunities out there and a strong networking group is a great way to make the most of it.”

Paul Madison of MBS Workplace Environment Ltd and also Vice President of Camelot Rugby Club concludes, ”We know that times are tough and the idea for the Camelot Business club came from the fact we have 300 active members who are in business. It seemed a logical step to get them together in a business networking group. Like Pictons, we are well-established in the local community and we think the strong association between the two organisations will be very beneficial to the business community in both Hemel and further afield.”
