Pictons, is opening a new office in Tring, having acquired local Tring firm Swatton Taylor Dutton. The partners from this local long-established firm are ready to move on, after running a law practice which has been in the town for over 40 years. The current staff will continue to work for the company as it becomes Pictons.

Roger Talbot, Managing Partner of Pictons says “We have been looking to expand our business in Hertfordshire for some time. When this opportunity presented itself we knew immediately that it is right for our firm. The partners of Swatton Taylor Dutton share the same philosophy on customer care and exceptional service. We are inheriting a fantastic team in Tring and we look forward to welcoming them into our group.”
Swatton Taylor Dutton partners, Andrew Dutton and Dudley Taylor, have been working in Tring since the 1980s. Says Andrew “I have been living in Tring area since 1965. It has been a fantastic place to run a legal practice, but now I feel ready to focus just on residential tribunal work. Dudley is looking forward to enjoying himself and doing more sailing.”
“Although we feel it is time to move on, we didn’t want to lose the legacy that we have built up over the years. We are delighted to see our practice moving forward with Pictons, who will bring a breadth of expertise as well as continuing the excellent level of service we provide. I think Tring is lucky!”

Pictons is a very community-oriented company and famous for its community and charity support in Luton, Hemel Hempstead and Milton Keynes. The company is intending to continue this practice in Tring once it has settled in. The new office will specialise in all areas of commercial law, residential conveyancing, employment and family law, as well as providing expertise in wills, trust and probate.
