FUNDING
At Pictons we are able to offer a full range of funding options, including:

Legal Services Commission funding (formerly the Legal Aid Board), as we have been awarded a franchise to undertake clinical negligence claims;
- Legal expenses insurance. If you have an insurance policy to cover your legal costs (perhaps with your car or home insurance) we will be able to advise you as to whether or not the policy covers a potential clinical negligence case;
- "No win no fee" Conditional Fee Agreements (CFA);
- We often offer to act privately on a fixed fee basis, if we were to undertake a preliminary investigation. We obtain the medical records and preliminary medical evidence to enable us to advise whether or not the merits of the claim are sufficient to allow us to offer a "no win no fee" agreement.
We always offer an initial diagnostic interview free of charge and we are happy to undertake home visits, should this be more convenient for the client.
