CONSUMER LAW
In these days of mass production and mass marketing, we are all obliged to enter into many contracts as either consumers or providers.
Items and services are purchased, often on credit, and the terms of the contracts are not negotiated on an individual basis.
The law has made strides forward to attempt to provide parity and clarity where consumer and provider meet.
Legislation and other provisions have been passed and offer some protection to the consumer. A new Consumer Credit Act is expected shortly and there are also new Directives and Regulations coming from Europe, which must be applied.
Unfortunately these provisions are not always simple and do not cover every possible situation.
Our expert litigators will advise you on the risks, options and likely costs and will conduct the matter for you to final resolution.
If you believe you have a case but are unsure, call us to discuss your problem briefly over the telephone. You may find that the law is in your favour.
