OUR FIXED FEES
Letters before action /demand letters
We can prepare a letter demanding payment of the sum that you have notified to us and attach a copy of the relevant unpaid invoice(s) to support the demand.
The letter will direct all payments and enquiries to you.
Our fee for this service is £15 plus VAT per letter, whether or not the debtor pays.
If a debtor pays within the period specified in the letter, we will make no further charges in relation to the debt.
If the debtor does not pay
If the debtor does not pay the amount in full within the period specified in the demand letter and you would like to pursue the matter further, our charges will depend upon whether the debt is contested in any way:
1. Contested/disputed debts
Any further work will be charged on our normal timed basis. We will send you our standard written client care agreement detailing our terms of engagement.
2. Uncontested/undisputed debts (Default Judgment)
If the debtor does not pay in accordance with the demand letter we can commence Court proceedings on a fixed costs scheme. We will send you a client care agreement detailing the fixed cost scheme prior to preparing any Court documents.
